Our Classes

We offer a variety of classes and learning opportunities.

While basic writing skills can be improved through our tutor service, we also have writing workshops and have even facilitated a writing club.

Basic math skills as well as financial literacy are important to all people. We offer tutoring, workshops, and class series on various numeracy topics.

Skills for the workplace are vital to our community. We offer workshops and class series for many skills including basic computers, resume writing, interview preparation, and more.

Basic reading literacy is provided on an individual basis by our volunteer tutors in a one on one setting.

B&W Bulb

Thinking out of the box to learn skills that help us interact with others in and out of the workplace, we incorporate tools such as theater, public speaking, and even tabletop role playing games.

Many individuals in our community come from other countries. Not everyone is a native English speaker. We offer individual tutoring and class settings to help with English Language Learning (ELL) and citizenship.

Computer desktop

Computer skills are ever more important in the world we live in. With the isolation brought about with Covid-19, it emphasizes this need. We offer Computer classes to provide basic skills and help individuals connect.
Through the use of Zoom, we also offer 1-on-1 tutoring and virtual attendance to certain classes.
