There are babies! The gosling has hatched and one duckling so far.
The duckling hatched first and has dried more than the gosling.
From the looks of it, the gosling hatched just before I arrived for the morning.
We still have 4 more duck eggs that might hatch. We'll keep an eye on them and hope for the best. Keep your fingers crossed for them!
When they first hatch, goslings and ducklings flop around a lot. They need to learn how to use their muscles and stretch out. It's a normal response and nothing to be concerned about.
